This syllabus is built on EASA Part 145.A.30(e), CAMO.A.305(g) and associated AMC/GM, CAA UK Part 145.A.30(e), CAMO.A.305(g) and AMC/GM, together with CAP 716 “Aviation Maintenance Human Factors” and FAA AC 120-72A (including its editorial update) “Maintenance Resource Management Training”, combined with practical experience and industry best practice. Together these form the basis for essential Safety and Human Factors (HF) training, suitable for all levels within maintenance and support organizations.
The emphasis is on the interaction between HF principles and the organization’s own safety reporting and SMS systems. Learners build a rounded understanding of incidents, their impact, and the considerations involved, and see how SMS, risk management, and Human Factors come together every day, and the part each of us plays in managing safety.
